The PS we refer to is an acronym for Print Summit. It is our annual ‘Knowledge Seminar’ hosted by our Association (Bombay Master Printers’ Association – BMPA, since 2005) for stakeholders from the print, print-packaging and allied industries.
This annual event is undertaken by the Association as a unique effort to commemorate Printers' Day, where we commemorate Johannes Gutenberg – a German (master) innovator whose invention, the movable type, revolutionised mass printing. It is no surprise that Time magazine aptly commemorated Gutenberg as “Man of the Millennium” at the dawn of this 21st Century.
We have a vast repertoire of all sessions at PS (since 2005) of YouTube videos under our channel “bmpa-ctp”. A search for Print Summit videos there will bring up an extensive library – almost everything ever since the first show in 2005. This helps our members with a rich resource that is just-in-time and a go-to destination for 24×7 content that offers generous ideas and motivation.
