Tangram - Innumerable Patterns.
The history of a Tangram dates back to the late 18th century. This seemingly simple puzzle is said to have been invented in China and carried over to America and Europe by trading ships, shortly after; only to become more popular during the 1st World War.
While its actual history still remains a mystery, this classic geometric puzzle has endless possibilities (about 6500 patterns have been formed so far). Comparable to knowledge and knowhow that are capable of unfolding countless possibilities, The Print Summit® 2025 draws its inspiration from ‘Tangram’.

The exceptionally versatile percussionist, Taufiq Qureshi, is the worthy torchbearer of a rich legacy of percussion, being the son and disciple of the legendary Ustad Allarakha and brother of the maestro Ustad Zakir Hussain by whom he has been greatly influenced. Taufiq has been fortunate to have received guidance from Ghatam Vidhwan, Pandit Vikku Vinayakram.

About The Bombay Master Printers' Association
We have been serving to the cause of the Print Industry for the last 67 years and are a proud family of over 500 members from and around Mumbai.
On a national level, The BMPA is well networked with other regional printers' trade associations from all over India; All of whom assemble under the fulcrum organisation: All India Federation of Master Printers - a New Delhi based nodal rep of the printing industry.
In this era of cross-technology solutions and a communication cycle that is ultra dynamic; one that is continuously pushing the limits and reinventing the means; the BMPA acknowledges the growing inter-dependence amidst the printing technologies and allied media processes.
