The PS we refer to is an acronym for Print Summit® . It is our annual ‘Knowledge Seminar’ hosted by our Association (Bombay Master Printers’ Association – BMPA, since 2005).
This annual event is undertaken by the Association as a unique effort to commemorate the memory of Johannes Gutenberg – a German (master) innovator whose invention, the movable type, revolutionised mass printing. It is no surprise that Time magazine aptly commemorated Gutenberg as “Man of the Millennium” at the dawn of this 21st Century.
The theme for PS23 is "OWN THE CHANGE"
As is always said, Change is the only Constant. Businesses that stayed on top of their game ensured continuity and prosperity. Businesses which have not evolved have been unable to survive the next generation in spite of having fantastic products. Although “change” looks easy, it isn’t. And more difficult is accepting or owning this change. In the current business situation, being innovative and having a world-class infrastructure is simply not enough. What is more important is being nimble.
Being nimble means that you are accepting changes in Employee profiles, choice of working hours, and workspaces, That you are ready to go to your customer’s doorstep and find out their preferences and tweak the products to cater to varied markets, That your infrastructure choice should be such that you are able to provide multiple options, without changing your basic machinery and should be able to face pandemics and natural calamities and still bounce back as fast as possible with available resources. And lastly, being nimble means taking a disaster and turning it into an opportunity. This is possible ONLY when you “OWN THE CHANGE”.

About The Bombay Master Printers' Association
We have been serving to the cause of the Print Industry for the last 67 years and are a proud family of over 500 members from and around Mumbai.
On a national level, The BMPA is well networked with other regional printers' trade associations from all over India; All of whom assemble under the fulcrum organisation: All India Federation of Master Printers - a New Delhi based nodal rep of the printing industry.
