The printing press is a highly complex and sophisticated machinery (few even liken it to an aeroplane) as it gently casts impression by guiding delicate sheets of paper, chattel upon chattel, at incredible speeds of 18,000 or more per hour; involving crazy design symphonies orchestrated by an intricate interplay of chemistry and physics – before it eventually falls in hands of a consumer who remains vastly unaware of the perils that sheet of paper has gone through to safely “land” as a well-executed manoeuvre by man and machine before it could be made to land in the users’ hand.
